NMN is a fragile molecule: stomach acid and digestive enzymes can break part of it down before it reaches the small intestine. In this formula the NMN is enclosed in liposomes, so the daily 250 mg is protected on its way through the digestive tract and can become better available for absorption — which is why we chose liposomal NMN rather than a plain powder capsule.
